West Michigan Lodging, Restaurants, Shopping & Other Resources

"Steve, it was a pleasure to fish with you on Thursday. I really appreciate you taking us out on a last minutes notice. We even stuck it to ?????????? on Friday; we got skunked on the Muskegon! We asked him if he wanted us to put him in touch with you to learn how to fish! He politely declined and muttered a few explicative’s under his breath.

I have passed your good name along to the other fellow fishermen in the office and we will be booking some trips with you in the future. Please let me know when the bite gets hot any time of the year and we will get out there with you."  Jeff — Holland, Michigan

West Michigan is a great year round travel destination, offering perfect sand beaches with lighthouses, awesome sunsets over Lake Michigan, diverse restaurants, fishing and camping with Ludington State Park considered the top state park in Michigan.  Fishing in west Michigan is simply excellent with endless diversity and mile after mile of opportunity with highlights including the Pere Marquette River, Muskegon River, Manistee River and Hamlin Lake.

Other interests would include the Ludington carferry and the numerous out of the way treasures like the village of Pentwater.  There are three west Michigan airports, they are located in Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Traverse City.
